Through material exploration and pattern design I explore my fascination with fleeting moments and our desire to preserve them. I allude to traditional textiles, creating timeless pieces that tug on nostalgic heartstrings that also have a contemporary aspect. This ageless essence gives my pieces staying power, linking the concept of ephemerality to sustainability, creating patterns that will never look dated, and therefore will not fade when the current trends do. My patterns and material explorations provide beauty while also prompting the viewer to contemplate their underlying meanings.
